First day at a new ballet school = success!
My new ballet school is a big fancy place with a maaasive studio! I had to do advanced 2 then advanced 1 class for the teacher to see what level I was up too since I’m changing syllabuses. In the end she said I am good enough for advanced 2! Yay :)
The funny thing was, that the girl standing behind me in class now goes to my high school! How weird is that? But she is lovely and now I have a friend in my ballet class :D
It is such an amazing dance school and I cant wait for my next class tomorrow :)
I have a feeling this year is going to be incredible.

I haven’t done much ballet at all these summer holidays! I’m probably gonna die. But Omg I am soooooo nervous! What if I suck so bad and everyone laughs at me

So here’s me thinking that I’ve been keeping up with my fitness all summer holidays and today was my first lesson back going over competition dances…. I died a thousand deaths after each dance and I sounded like an old man! I hope I can get into shape by the time I start my new ballet school, next week! :L Im gonna go lie down now.
Does anyone know how to do those little hops en pointe?
I can do the little hops/jumps en pointe with two feet, but when it comes down to doing on the one foot I have know idea what to do… Is there a certain way your foot has to be? and how do I stay up en pointe? Please help me! :)
